Madness

Madness

Today I saw it, my friend,

In the least expected place,

Wishing to be loved,

Even if it is, by a clandestine love.

The way she talks, laughs, thinks,

Is like that of a friendly beast.

I can't imagine if it's a desire to love,

Or if she's a flirtatious climber.

Madness I have seen in her mind,

Madness I see in her talk,

Madness I see in all that she does,

But how is her madness in loving?

In her mind, I know not what exists,

If she is happy indeed,

But a love so strange and mad,

I wouldn't want to take it.
