The Beginning Of A Love

The Beginning Of A Love

Late I met her

I realized right away,

That she would be for me.

Her charms surprised me,

Her joy made me happy.

Two minutes of chatting were enough,

For both of us to fall in love,

And at the same time,

We held hands.

Then, we embraced.

But the distance separated us,

It was very big, Samaná to NEW YORK.

40 days by boat, one hour by plane.

Even if she never loved me,

I will always love her.

Because in two days of knowing each other,

A beginning of love was born.

Her charms are unforgettable,

Her smiles are pleasant.

And, though life may be short-lived,

Memories are immortal.

Her love I would like to have,

And my life I'd like to offer,

For you and for me, always in life,

I will love you, beautiful woman.
